📋 Step-by-Step Guide (6 Steps)
Prepare Glass Protection and Lift Arm
Lay a folded thick microfiber towel across the windshield directly underneath the driver-side wiper arm. Grasp the metal arm midway up and gently pull it away from the glass until it locks into its raised vertical service position. Ensure the towel stays directly beneath the arm base to protect the glass if the spring snaps down.

Locate and Depress Release Tab
Inspect the central pivot joint where the rubber blade frame connects to the metal arm. Locate the small plastic release lever or tab located on the underside or side of the hook connector. Press and hold this tab firmly inward toward the blade body using your thumb or needle-nose pliers.

Slide and Remove Old Blade
While keeping the release tab depressed, slide the blade assembly downward toward the windshield base to free it from the J-hook. Once the hook is exposed, tilt the blade sideways and maneuver it off the metal curve. Carefully lower the bare metal wiper arm until it rests gently against the folded towel.

Attach and Lock New Wiper Blade
Match the replacement blade length against the removed blade and open the new blade's top adapter flap if equipped. Slide the curved metal J-hook into the center channel of the new connector until it seats around the plastic pin. Pull the blade firmly upward toward the top end of the wiper arm until you hear and feel a positive click, then snap the adapter flap closed.

Repeat Replacement on Passenger Side

Lift the passenger wiper arm into the service position, depress the release tab, remove the worn blade, and set the bare arm onto the towel. Install the correct-size passenger blade into the J-hook until it clicks securely into place, then gently lower the arm.

Observe that both blades clear water evenly across the entire wipe zone without chattering, squeaking, or unhooking.
