📋 Step-by-Step Guide (5 Steps)
Clean and Degrease the Dent Area
Spray 91% isopropyl alcohol generously over the dented area and wipe clean with a fresh microfiber towel. Remove all road grime, wax, and grease so the adhesive can bond securely. Inspect the paint surface closely under lighting to ensure there are no existing paint cracks.
- • Panel surface appears matte and clean with zero wax gloss or smudges under light reflection.
- • Leaving automotive wax on the paint, which causes the glue tab to release prematurely.
Heat the Panel and Glue the Pulling Tab
Gently warm the metal panel with a heat gun until warm to the touch (approx. 70-80°F). Select a plastic pulling tab slightly smaller than the dent crater, apply a thick bead of hot PDR glue to the tab face, and immediately press it firmly into the dead center of the dent. Hold light pressure for 10 seconds without squeezing all the glue out, then let it cure for 3 to 5 minutes.

Mount the Bridge Puller and Draw Out the Dent
Slide the bridge puller frame over the stem of the glued tab, resting the bridge feet firmly on the undamaged panel around the dent. Thread the hand knob onto the stem and rotate it clockwise slowly, turning half-a-turn every few seconds to gradually draw the metal upward. Continue turning until the dent pops up flush or slightly above the surrounding panel, or until the tab releases on its own.

Release Glue and Remove the Tab
Spray 91% isopropyl alcohol directly around the edges of the glue pad remaining on the panel. Allow the alcohol to penetrate the bond for 30 seconds to break the surface adhesion. Peel the glue lump cleanly off the paint using your fingers or a plastic scraper.

Tap the back of the pen lightly and rhythmically with a rubber mallet until the high spot sits perfectly level with the surrounding body line.
